eBay / Re: What's the point of feedback?
« on: June 07, 2014, 04:34:41 PM »
You can leave negative feedback in the comments...

So even if it's marked positive you can leave a comment like. 'Beware of buyer, he's a scam artist"

eBay will get ya for doing that - you cannot leave a negative feedback in the comments like that- have to be a bit more subtle - still doesn't make a hoot for the buyer - only good for the seller (positive feedback)

Craigslist / Re: Why do people "overpost" on Craigslist ?
« on: June 04, 2014, 06:37:04 AM »
What get's me is when people use keywords in their ad to attract buyers looking for a different brand/product.

For example, someone selling a Toyota 4Runner might put a group of keywords like:

Pathfinder, Xterra, Escape, MDX, Pilot, Explorer, Trailblazer...etc.

that gets my goat also - real pain in the @#$.

I wont purchase from the because of that and sometimes I will send them a email asking if they have the "escape" for sale lol

and Ebay really frowns on it and if you do it enough times you could be in trouble with them

General Storage Auction Talk / Re: Cost to rent a 10 x 15 locker
« on: January 02, 2014, 12:48:57 AM »
In my area of central California a 10 x 15 typically rents for $100 to $125 but I talked to someone who lives just 100 miles away in Marin county near San Francisco.  Their price.... $600 !  She called another place and it was only $400 but they had a WAITING LIST !

What are the rates in your area for a 10 x 15?

In east texas it runs 67 a month, in san Antonio tx it runs 135 a month

eBay / Re: How do you "prompt" eBay buyers to make their payment?
« on: December 30, 2013, 11:44:40 AM »
I send them invoices like crazy until they pay.

Same here - I will send them a gentle reminder that they need to pay
