New to Storage Auctions? / Finding Storage Auctions In Local Newspapers
« on: October 05, 2011, 06:16:56 PM »
What exactly in the legal notices do you find the auctions? I've looked in the Kitsap Sun under Notice of Trustees and this seems to be the closest bet. I haven't gone to my first auction yet but we're a military family and there are TONS of independent storage facilities in these military towns. Should I just call up the facilities one by one and ask them?

Welcome to the Online Storage Auctions Forum / Seattle (Kitsap County)
« on: September 30, 2011, 07:59:27 PM »
I'm a Navy wife moving up to Port Orchard in October. When my husband was deployed, I scrounged garage and estate sales to grow my coin collection. That grew into an investment in silver (gold is way too expensive). Of course, I've decided to jump on the Storage Wars bandwagon ever since watching the episode where Darryl found "junk" silver and coins. I literally drooled and that's where my interest wove from. We don't have much money so the plan is to sell our unwanted stuff (including some collectibles I've found) at a swap meet during the 2012 spring season. From those earnings, I intend to start my storage auction craze and continue the swap meet biz. Just testing the waters! Hope to see some Seattle or Kitsap County folks so I can get an idea on how big the crowds are; but I plan on standing quietly at the auctions.
