I just wrote a long reply and for some reason it disappeared.

@auctionguy you are 100% right.
Joe P bought into what A&E and Original were selling.
Myself on the other hand approached it a different way.
When we did the NY version I was hopping they would focus more on the business side of things and leave all the BS drama out west in LA.
The one episode where I went around actully selling the items I found to the people I normally deal with had tons of positive reviews.
I was told that we were going to continue to do that.
Unfortunately they did not live up to it.
Trust me people that work in the TV biz are snakes and will tell you whatever you want to hear just so they can get to do what they want. It's unfortunate that Joe fell for that trap. I always live by one thing "If it doesn't make dollars it doesn't make sense".
Tell John I said hello.

That's possible but trust me once they see that you were on the show they want to make you pay.

Yea Joe took a beating. I think it's more like $70K he lost from doing it.
For me it's not so much the money for being on the show. It's about how A&E conducts itself with certain things.
I experience the same thing when going to auctions now as well.
I have been sticking to more upstate NY and CT since those buyers capital isn't as large as New Yorkers.
They run me up but it's nothing like NY.

I spoke with a few producers the other day. Dolph is working on some other show right now but he wouldn't be back in NY anyway.
Honestly I wasn't happy with A&E had to say the other day. Who knows time will tell.

honestly I havent spoke to Joe P in a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't come back. He spent a ton of money and was promised the world.
Dolph went on to do a different show.
Honestly I am on the fence about returning as well.
Who knows only time will tell.

Well well Travis you finally did it!!! Mobile version I love it!! Sorry I have been gone so long. New baby and all. Storage Wars NY and Storage Wars TX have not been canceled. From what I have been told the new season of LA will premiere with about 6 episodes to test the market for ratings to see if it's still there. This form has really shown me a lot of respect and I appreciate it all. I can tell you that Marry will be a full time buyer on the new season of LA. I spoke to Ricky the other day and he heard the same about the 6 episode trial for LA. Original productions might be shopping the whole franchise to another network from what the rumor mill says. Tonight I will be on WVOX 1460AM in NY or you can go to wvox.com and listen and watch. If you guys want I will be on from 8-9pm est answering questions. You can call in and ask away. 9146360110. Again I promise not to stay away as long as I did before.

Anyway let's switch the topic of this forum and let me hear about some of the recent finds you all have found.

@auctuonguy...
Ask any regular auction buyer that frequents the Bronx, Westchester, CT and Harlem who I am and they will tell you I was out there doing this years before the Original LA show came out.
This back and forth convo with you is getting really old.
1- Joe P had zero to do with any decisions or help creating the show.
2- If you would have watch the NY version you would have known that the girls and Chris and Tad both said they hardly ever frequented storage auctions.
3- I know almost every big time buyer in NYC.
4- The show I am involved with actually has nothing to do with storage auctions.
5- Again it would be great for you to actually tell us who you are so we can all at least know who we are speaking with.
6- Of course they used a casting company to screen buyers from the area as there was hundreds they called to meet.
7- As I am pretty close with Ricky from SWTX they have not gotten called back yet.
8- Original is currently in negotiations with A&E on Bringing Texas and NY back to premiere in the fall.(Which means we will start filminig Late July)
9-  SWNY averaged almost 2 million viewers per episode with zero advertisement from A&E other than running on their channels. It means A&E making lots of money with little investment.
10- If and when the show gets called back I'm not 100% on going back. With a with and now 4 kids it takes up way to much time.

To sum this all up and put an end to this stupid debate with a guy who will never tell us who he really is I am going to leave it at this.
SWNY & SWTX have not been called back as of yet. It is under negotiation which means both show will come back at some point. Could be a few months or a year from now.
I'm not here to defend any other buyers on the show. I do what I do. I buy storage auctions and sell what I find.
For @auctionguy to say he has never seen me before. Maybe that's true. Maybe that's because he does not attend the amount of auctions I do in the areas I go to.
This isn't about who knows what about what. At the end of the day who gives a ****.
It's obvious @auctionguy sees Joe P and listens to all the BS that man has to say.
Until next time... Keep bidding & buying.

Travis of course I will let you guys know first! As far as SWNY goes I believe Original is in negotiations with A&E now which means filming should start soon. Will keep you posted on that also.

@auctionguy I just read all you wrote.
You are truly out of your mind!
We have had no word if the show is coming back or not. C&C is not working on a spinoff at all. Actually to let you in on a little something I am actually in the process of a different show.
@auctionguy is really Todd AKA the "Fog" who tried so so hard to make it on the show but failed miserably because he was a complete flake.
@auctionguy you can come out of the "closet" now and speak freely on how you feel that they didn't chose you to be a main buyer. It's a shame because I actually did like you. Unfortunately you are just another bottom feeding New Yorker living off of hard working tax paying citizens.
You can respond if you like. If not you know where to go!
By the way Travis how you doing?

I really don't understand why @auctionguy avoids any of the questions I asked?
If the show gets canceled it gets canceled. Nothing the NY crew did.
I wish C&C all the luck in the world and hope they continue on in the TV biz if they chose to.
Me on the other hand I will just do what I do everyday with or without the show.

Production is pretty much none existent. The cameras just roll as we go. The producers might ask you to repeat something you say just to get a better camera angle. What a lot of people don't understand is that us along with the production company have to sometime "Greek" the boxes. When the boxes need to be "Greeked" it is to cover up certain labels on boxes that don't have clearance to be shown.
Thats why you might see a box a little out of place from when the bidding proceses is going on to when they film us going through the room.
