If I were you..... I would part it out on ebay you will probably make twice what you would seeing as complete  unit

For shipping I used USPS almost all the time and never had a issue one thing I do ALWAYS is pay for Del confirmation. That way a buyer cannot clain to have never recieved a package.... and they DO try it! Delivery confirmation has saved my but a couple of times! I just was selling a item started at 9.99 with a $60 reserve 7 day auction bids up to $51 no sale..... I re-list with a 4.99 start and a 5 day auction bids steady for 5 days ends at $72 bucks....... That's the way these things go sometimes!

Other Forms of Selling / Re: Another source of Junk Silver

I have a couple a gas stations and 7-11's that I stop by on a regular basis..... Since I have gotten to know that cashiers I tell them all I will pay them 10 times face value for pre- 64 and I usually pick up one or two a week on average that way. Its a win-win

No prob, they do give you credit for your listing fee if you re-list so it doesn't cost you anymore money...... Auctions are funny I have lised things that didn't sell and then re-listed them and they went crazy...... If you re-list Ebay emails all of your previous bidders and watchers that it is available again! I always try to have a story or additional info about whatever I am listing also...... I will google the item and copy sales ads and such to paste into the auction.

There is no easy answer to that. If it is a high demand item shorter auctions are fine. I will give you a example. I just sold a Iphone on a 7 day with no bids on day 6... I start to panic a bit but then it takes off and sells for $266. There are so many Iphones that no one looks at them until to end. In that case a 3-5 day auction will be fine. I usually start my opening price very low on a 7 day auction with a reserve. This gets some quick bids and alot of watchers. You need to get the bidders invested in the sale. If they bid once or put it on  a watchlist they are likely to bid more. Sometimes I will put a item that I think won't auction well but has a approx value on with a buy it now. I don't do this often but remember to have a good auction you need 2 bidders. Example I part out old 4 wheelers and stuff and I will sell a carb for like 29.95 on a buy it now. I do this cause there are probably not alot of people looking for a carb for a 1984 Honda TRX 125 but there is someone that needs one..... They are likely to click to buy now rather than wait for a bidding process. Take alot of good pictures sell things that you can easily ship disclose everything and if it does not sell then relist right away!

Bought my first unit today! It was much better today than yesterday. 5 units up for sale with 9 bidders. Highest went for $275 and others for 40-50 bucks. I bought mine for $20 buck it was the last unit a 10x20 has a buch of broken dressers and matresses. I did find a dresser and a headboard that will sell along with some weight equipment a xbox and 2 nice bunkbed frames. Got some on Craigslist now hope to pull $300-400 profit. Will let you know how it goes....... Now I gotta figure out how to get rid of the junk!

OK here is the good the bad and the ugly. Auction was in Lombard IL and advertised 4 units. As they opened the gate they announced only 2 were going to Auction.... I figure thats common. First unit was a BIG one 20x20 I got excited and then......... They opened it all that was there was a old comp monitor and propane tank and a couple of small boxes with what looked like some car parts. Went for $30. I think thats what it was worth too! Next unit was a 5x10 and it was packed! A litle furniture a bicycle and misc househols stuff. A cheap stereo and junk electronics in sight Unit went for $500! There was 20 or so people there seemed like they mostly knew each other. I am hitting up a 5 unit sale Thursday and am hopefully get some bidding done.
