buying, selling and trading is common. just tell the buyer that you are interested and
ask how much they will take for something. I know I usually have a ballpark price set in my head before I start bidding. you probably want get a firm price till after closer inspection. but you will get a cheaper price if I don't have to move it.

How long you have been a member. How many post. Your entertainment value. I think maybe have a resume. Pick an item and see who can get the most $ for. My pick is a ironing board. Lets have a contest.
what started this is that I looked at my name and under it is newbie. Who makes that decision. Wasn't me.

I'd like to play, but I need help understanding the "rules".

Had a ironing board lean up beside my storage locker today. No! the one I pay for every month. A lady a couple lockers over ask me if I would like to sell it. Sure if the price is right. She offers 50 bucks. Who the F knew, she could have had it for 10.

So there are the rules what is something worth. is it $10 or $50.

by the way wife says ours cost $80 plus $20 cover. WHO THE F KNEW.

Dumb a@@

Sorry I stepped on your kid lady. Hey can I send him in the next unit with a camera.

just off the cuff remarks about this game we are playing.

Plus as much fun as it is buying a unit is . my flea market - yard sell bizz is a world of it's own.  and one could not be,  without the other.

thing in the ATL are getting better. still a lot of folks. but not so many bidding. No more $1 units they are bidding them up to 25 & 30. I can no longer say anything about kids. had to take my 6 year old. Presidents day and sitter was not back from florida. Only 10 units so it went fast

Yeah
How long will it be before we hear about the storage unit owner. You know the one who has had 40% of income lost to none payment for the last 90 days.

The one who says just make a token payment of 1 months rent until you can catch up.

You know the guy that who took out the 200K loan to expand last year. Only the expansion is not going thorough. Just the loan payments

Auctioneers are getting with the program.
Line them up and get them thur. And the bids are getting more in line.
Still a little on the high side,But I think everybody is learning that this work. Not a treasure hunt.

I love the Boony run it keeps my faith. They lock the gate and its just you and the sun.
So here's my rant.
Next time you bring your kids to work remember to pack a lunch.
NO, your civic WILL not move a 10 x 20 locker. So don't forget to add the cost of a moving van to your bid.
And no I will not give you $700 for your $200 dollar locker.
No! Buy your on trash bags. But I will sell you a broom for $15

And here is why I keep doing it.
2 pair of nikes will pay for all $ I spent. And the flea market was packed. So I made enough to do it again next week. And my wife says that if I make this much every week I don't have to learn how to cook.

In my experience when the door is opened you are bidding on everything in the locker.
The storage company has the right not let the unit be auctioned .
or they can also bid on the locker.
The auctioneer can also bid.
But they can not say everything but that safe is for sale.
It is everything or nothing.
They can do what they want.
But!  They also know the next auction will not have bidders.
The other day they opened the door and nothing but file boxes on shelves. It was obvious this was construction company's file room.
They declined to sell the unit.

I had a auctioneer tell me that he would sell a unit for me. At the regular auction with out the consent of the facility.
