So your oppinion is that Pawn queens, American Jewelry (hardcore pawn), And Pawn Stars are fake?
Have you ever been to any of these stores? I have,  to American jewelry in Detroit, it is real as it gets.

Yes they edit things on the show, and they pic out the most crazy scenes, but still 100% real.
When they make show's like this, they film up to 3000 hours of film, then they go back to edit all of it. What they pick out and make a 30 min show out of is totally up to the production company. And of course based on what will bring the best ratings. It is all about entertainment value.

To hard to understand for some, i understand that.

Stories about Storage Auctions / Re: No need to buy..........

For some time i have had a plan about putting new outdoor lights on the house.
Well last week i got a unit for 120 bucks, have allready sold for 400 out of it, and still have stuff for about 150 to sell. But, in this unit there was a box with 3 outdoor lights, with automatic sensor. This was perfect, as i needed 3 of them. The good thing is that they are brand new, still in boxes from Lowes. I went to lowes and cheked them out, and the price on each lamp was 49.99 + tax.  So i saved 150 bucks on this.

I love it when i find stuff in the units that i need, to me that is just the same as selling stuff for a profit.
Money saved is money earned.

You can never get enough totes/bins.

I have over the years gotten close to 300 totes/bins of different kinds and sizes. Kept about half of it my self, and sold the rest of them.

But now i am need of more, so every time i get totes i keep them.

If you keep that compressor, that is money saved.
Money saved is just as good as money earned. So calculate your savings into the total math. That will bring you way a head on this unit.

Good work!

Yeah they did pretty good in Hockey this year.

I agree with you, London is a nice place, to be honest probobly the best place i have ever lived.
People are friendly, nice nature, and just a harmonic place to live.

When it comes to Storage auction, you can do really well if you base it out from London to Toronto area. I have to say that the lockers i got in Canada was better in general then what i have gotten here in Memphis. Prices are maybe a little hiher in London,On. But that does not matter that much when you can sell the stuff for a higher price.

Another thing about selling.
You could also take thing to the outdoor marked that runs in Grand Bend every summer, i know a friend of mine goes there, and he is doing really good up there.

Beside the places i have told you about, you will do better listing your products on Kijiji then Cragslist. Here in the USA Craigslist is better then kijiji. But in Canada it is the other way around.

All of these are good locations in London,On. The only one that does not have many auctions is the one on Wonderland rd (canstor). As that is a area with alot of money people, they pay their bills most of the time.

Here is the website to the one i mention above. They also have one location in Windsor,On.

I used to sell some of the stuff i got from the units at the weekend marked called "Gibraltar" also located on Dundas. On the corner of Dundas and 3rd street. I also tried the farmers market that is called Trials End further out past the airport.

When i lived in London,On i went to the places and asked them. I also called around.
In London you have a big facillity located on Dundas street. Almost on the corner of Dundas and Highbury. Contact them first. They have a pretty good system running. Their phone number is 519 455 7322 and the name is PRICE SELF STORAGE.

In Chatham they are more lose, not a system they go by, but there is one close to Queen street i think that has auctions on regular basis.

In Toronto you have to call around, i mean GTA is almost 5.9 million people and tons of storage places. i just went to a few in Markham area and in Milton area.  But also Kitchener can be a good place.

If you live in Ontario, there is alot of auctions going on in that area. Why go to the US to attend auctions? To me thats just making it complicated for your self.

GTA (greater Toronto area) has plenty of auctions every month. There is also some good ones in London,ON every month.

Other cities that has auctions on regular basis is Chatham,ON and Windsor,ON.

Alot of the auctions in Ontario is made public in the media, but also online.
