Here is a little list over what i got from my unit.

2 dresser chests ( in bad condition)  i will use them in my garage for storage.
1 complete kitchen set, table and chairs. Priced at $180.00 ( might have a buyer for it already)
1 livingroom set. loveseat + 3 seater + coffee table and 2 end table. Priced at $440.00 Consider it sold  for that price already.
1 complete bed with mattresses and boxspring. in ok condition. Will sell it for $50.00

Beside that big stuff, i found some suitcases filled with stuff, and what a world that opened up to me.

1 coach wallet unused
1 pair of coach winter boots maybe used 2 or 3 times
Genuine Gucci backpack
2 VTEC phone systems
Ceramic pottery set
2 car audio ampilifiers
one car audio cd-changer

One PSP mobile powercord/charger

There are still things i have not gone thru.
Oh and there was a backpack full of CD's and DVD's


My guess is that, when everything is sold, i would have about 1000 bucks from it. Not bad when paid 170

Sounds like you have a plan ready, thats good.

Alot of newbies jump into this business without any plans or any network to sell things.

Don't let it break you if you don't make money on the first 2 or 3 auctions. As long as you break even.
It is a part of the learning process.

You make money over time in this business.
You will not make the millions by attending one auction, y have to stay in it for the long haul, and over time develop a system for both buying and selling, and also cost control on waste/garbage.

I know people who have become rich from this business, and making 6 figures a year from it. But they have been doing it for 4-5 years, day in and day out. They have created a network for selling.

Bidding and buying units are only 25% of the whole thing.

Here in Memphis there has been normally around 10-15 people attending auctions, after the two tv series started, "the hype" bidders have joined in, and today we have around 30-40 people attending auctions.

But alot of them are no active bidders, maybe only like 10-15 people bid, some of them are newbies, and the kind of bid the price up.

Units sells maybe for as much as 3-40% higher now then before. But this will regulete it self with time.
Give it 2 months and "the hype bidders" will be gone.

Yes i have created a blog this week.

Reason for that is, i want to share with other storage locker bidders/hunters my experiences and findings.
Most people like the TV shows that runs, but for many it is to far out there, it is not real for many, i just wants to make it real.

I would like to use my blog as a tool to show people that this is something anyone can do.
You don't need a million dollars, you don't need a huge storage building, you don't need to own 4-5 trucks, and etc.

At the same time maybe my experience can help others from doing the mistakes i did and maybe will do in the future. (i hope not) lol.
