I plan on renting when I get a inventory. Have a rapport with the a local storage guy(rented for 2 years there and always had my rent in 2 weeks early. Guy trust me and when I went back to get his locker pricing he recognized me instantly(been gone for 2 years). I have sold out of the facility too.

My full time job is Direct Care Work(fancy and PC name for Adult mentally challenged babysitter). Only am staying at this job because I need health insurance and for me to go independent health insurance on a startup business would not be cheap. My hope is that I am bringing in enough cash in by next year that I can get health insurance and drop down to part time at this company.

Oh I can sit on this until spring if need be. Pretty much know that everything on CL is about 500 to grand overpriced(not new to CL, consigned a home about a year ago to pay off a debt), but I know my auto and motocycles enough to know when to stop bidding or when not to buy. Just was making sure I was making a smart decision to go into the auction presuming the bike is a parts bike.
BTW you can have a dealer cut you new keys as long as you have proof of ownership.

If it ran depending on mileage it would go for 3 to 6k. Be lucky to pull more then $1500 in parts if it not. I'm thinking my stop point will be $1k. I just hope the 6 is first and all these yahoos will be saving there cash for the Harley.

Well found out the other day an auction coming up is going to have an r6 in the unit sale and at the same sale there will be a Harley. I know the harley is going to probably pull 3 grand( don't have enough cash I know already) but I am going to shoot for the r6. Is it wise to go into this thinking the bike isn't running? I know what they pull in parts so I am think I know my limit! Smart?

To much or to little of either can make your competitors mad or rather not respect you. This is something that is earned over time.
I'll tell you what, I can give a rat's arse what established bidders think of me. So I didnt have the cash or space to get into this pre-storage wars, so what! Everyone was new at one time or another, don't like it, tough luck!

Just getting into this, but don't get it twisted I am not getting into this because of the Storage shows, finally have the cash and the space to actually do this.
Do have one question, I came across some horrible hoarding units, should I buy those tyvek cleaning suits to do these units(besides having gloves)? SHould I worry about anything that could cause respiratory distress in these units?
