I haven't been to alot of auctions in my area so far, but enough to know who are the whales, and there are 2.

One older couple at every auction I have went to around here (GREEDY and RUDE).

I think since the 1st auction I went to that  they were at, they rubbed me wrong.  Since I usually am they 2nd biggest bidder there, no one else bids more than $200, I make it a habit to run them up  ;D

Where they would get really good units for $200 - $300, I have been making them pay $600- $900

At the auction Saturday I cost them an extra $1000 at least.   I don't like this practice but they show us little guys no mercy, so I make them pay for everyone they want.

I think they have noticed this as they are more rude to me  LOL

I get along with everyone else, and no one likes them.  They own a thrift store and auction house, I think.

@ craig   Yeah I'm still around, Thanks.  Tornados just a couple of miles from my house.

Well I'm headed to another local auction tomorrow, I have been doing really well at these.  As of this morning 24 units. My last 2 lockers I have made my money back 5X over and still have a couple of things to sell.

Maybe I'll get a couple of good priced units.

After seeing this post I tried this strategy, I knew a person who's daughter was losing her unit

(bedroom, living room, and dining room, almost whole house from when she left her husband, she has been living with her dad)

I contacted her dad and offered her $100, and I pay off her unit, it was like $300 past due.

She has not gottten back with me, ohh well may get it cheaper at auction ;D

I get to the flea early becuse you just pick whatever spot you want, I like the back row because it has more vendors less open spaces.  Some vendors don't show up for an hour or two after me.

 Thanks I hope I get a locker too...LOL\

Good luck with the new flea.

@Money4

My sisster is a lil OCD, so she keeps everything very neat and organised LOL

She's always going behind me and fixing things that I just did!

Just an update

Nothing much new at the antique mall, I have so far set up 4 metal utility racks, 2 clothes racks,  and my display case i got in a unit.  Not to bragg but my space looks way better than most peoples there.

I haven't checked in a few days but I think I have sold about $160 since the first of this month.

What I have noticed is a don't have any larger ticket items, so I am taking over a couple of smaller pieces of furniture.  Most of my items range from $1-$25 ( I may have most things under priced).

Well give you guys another update soon....
