Well we are having an expert come in next week to look at it. I think it would be a Great Hostess stand for a German Eatery. I mean they could have the hostess there and Cash Register also so when they pay the bill. I have contacted 4 local German Establishments and have gotten 1 reply and sent more pics.

It may be a hard piece to unload but I think when it goes the payoff will be a good one.

I will let you all know what the guy says next week and when I sell it and for how much.

We went to a moving company sale where they were selling off the crates that people failed to keep current. We bid on a couple  but they went beyond what I was willing to pay so we finally got the one we had eyeballed all day.

The crates were being sold in lots by however many crates that person had so this one had 6 crates. If you ever go to one of these if you look on the side of the crate you can see the date it was stored and this was stored in July of 1989. Yeah thats right 89 so its been sitting in this warehouse for almost 23 years.

We didnt see this when we bid but this is a Hand Carved wooden Bar. The painting on it are also hand carved and hand painted. They are like 2D as the buildings and mountains are all raised about the rest of the wood along with other things in this art.

It has lights about all 3 paintings and one in the back side of the bar where the shelves are. It even has the German plug for power. We have looked all over the net and we cant find anything even close to this and it seems as though this thing is Unique within itself. We cant find who made it or when but I know it was bought in the time frame of 1981-1983 but dont know if it was bought new or not...

Just check out the pics and tell me what ya think.....

Thanks in Advance.

Well we usually buy about 6-10 units a month on average. I only Bid on a unit I want and I feel I can make a profit from, If I wanted to I could buy every unit that is up for auction for that day but I dont. Everything is a gamble and what you see from the outside may not look as pretty once ya get inside.

Do people make money....Yep they do BUT they have lost money too and it sucks ASS when that happens.

I paid $725 for this past unit and I HOPE I break even....x fingers and toes cause I dont see it happening. The guy that got another 1 I had bid on but stopped at $400 was there loading his up also and let me tell you I should of kept bidding cause that baby was loaded with nice tools and generator and power washer and air compressor AND AND AND the list goes on and on BUT you could see any of that from the junk that was in front. Well it wasnt really junk just didnt compare to what was behind it...

Ive kicked myself in the ass the past 2 days over it.....Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

LIFE GOES ON.................LOL

Smart phone and Truck

I bid on what I want REGARDLESS of who wants it.....If they get what I want then they pay for it....

Every man for themselves cause Im not there to make friends. I only see them at auctions its not like we hang out and sing Koom Ba Ya at night. Its a business and nothing should be personal cause if you take it that way then your in the wrong line of work.

Just my Opinion.

So no one but me would have a problem with this.  It is open to the public.  So if there are 7 auctions that day and you go to all of them there is $35 spent and you may not win a single unit.  Now if you are going as a team because two sets of eyes are better than one you just spent $70. Start doing that 4 - 5 time a month and you are talking $300 a month.  Good luck making a profit that way.  Would anyone be happy when they open a unit and the only thing in there is one chest and a bag of garbage left behind.  Talk about the WOW factor.  I just paid $5 to see that trash.

See its working GREAT Already.......You would be out if they did it so it works.....LOL

I just use my Smartphone for everything you are doing on the ipad. I pay $45 a month for my phone for unlimited everything and it fits in my pocket and has a decent size screen. I think what I like the best is the ebay app where I can scan ANYTHING with a barcode thats in a store and it will show me same items being sold on ebay.

The Ipad is a Great tool and if it works for you then Great but my phone works like a Champ.

Good info though for those that dont have a Smartphone though.
