Highly doubtful its for sake'.   I'm no expert but was with a Japanese girl for over a decade and picked up a few things.....

Even tho sake is made more like beer than wine it's pretty acidic.  You wouldn't want to drink, let alone store, it in anything metallic or the taste would alter.  I mean, even whiskey in a stainless steel flask changes flavor after time and both are low on reactivity scale.

Second, sake has great tradition.  Most places won't even use glass because it's not considered to be as close to "earth" as ceramic.

Third, glasses are wrong shape.....it's an aromatic thing.   Why to long to explain. 

Lastly, back to metal, saki is served cold, room or hot.  Metal would be poor insulation to keep it at correct temp.

(FYI- it's usually served warmed up to mask that its inferior saki.  Unless its winter and your host is trying to warm you beware of warmed saki)


Like I said, I don't know for sure but reasoning leads me to say its not for sake. 


You can google things like "tequila forum" or rum, whiskey.....post pictures there.  To me it has that Spanish influence look to it you see in Mexico.  So I figure Mexico....must be Tequila!

Can you tell what it's made of?  Base and top coat....

You can't even get $20 an ounce right now for sterling so 2 lbs would be $640 on the high end. Not $2000. One of us did our math wrong.

Yeah, meet them, get cash and sign contract.   That way you can tell ebay to piss off, you have the courts on your side then.   Might lose the $50 but better than the alternative.

I would be concerned about people cleaning out the unit and then disputing the purchase to paypal and getting their full refund.

I was thinking the same.  So many ways to get burned. 
You really think ebay is going to help the seller if person grabs good stuff and leaves junk/trash?
Or look at it and see it's not a money maker and and make a claim of falsely described or, as stated above, had banned items?

With ebay they could really make a case they weren't fully informed. Ebay is always going to side with buyer.....

I thought about that but the odds of three accounts being deleted seems high.

Doesn't matter.  Not like I sell a lot and it's usually pretty low value items so people shouldn't be to worried about being scammed. 

I do need to list something this week.   Got an eBay offer of $10 gift certificate if I list, another $10 if it sells.
