Heck, we're the largest storage auction website in the world and it's been difficult for us to attract storage clients.

You have a different definition of largest then I do.  SB is the largest, everyone else has no auctions.

You have the largest Storage Auction Forum Website, where 80% of the new topics were started by yourself in the last year.

We're not trying to conceal anything, we're just using a different strategy to present only auctions that are relevant to each user.  We're requiring users to login so we can show them auctions close to them, and only those auctions.  We think it makes for a faster, cleaner, and easier user experience instead of showing auctions in Colorado on the homepage to a user in Miami.  We're just localizing, that's all.

But we appreciate your feedback and respect your opinion.

You can localize off IP and if they sign up and willing to give you additional information like a zip code that's fine then localize off the zip.

By preventing people from accessing your site, you have the be the most uneducated site owner in the world.  You are also prevent search engines from crawling additional content pages, which also prevents you from getting organic traffic. This prevents you from acquiring new customers at a faster rate..

It's just retarded in my opinion..

@ebids

Yeah, the countdown timer was always counting down on the page. But I never bid on an auction yet in the new system to see how it reacts.

And besides, I buy units online and since I buy units online, I make Facilities and SB monies.

I refuse to sign up to your site, until you allow guest to view active auctions on your site. I'm also guessing you conceal that information, because you most likely don't have very many active actions.

When you change your site, you'll have one more active bidder. But you'll have to PM - Because I won't even look to see.

All it takes for an auctioneer to say "going once, twice, sold" is less then 10 seconds..

So their pretend excuse is flawed, buy advancing the timer 3 minutes.

In a real auction settings, the auctioneer, just wants to move through the lockers as fast as possible, fill out the paperwork, and go home.

I met one of the owner of a locker I bought, he was really nice and just wanted his personal memento's from the unit, which I gladly gave him. He said he didn't have any room to accept anything else out of the locker.

Very Kind, Very Polite, and Very Respectful of the situation.

PayPal / Re: PayPal keeps a portion of their fee when you issue a refund

I never had them keep a portion of the fee on refund.

I test everything i know how to test. Sometimes i'll get network switches or other items i cant fully test, but i will make sure they power on.

One of the hardest things for me to test are landline telephones. No one has a hard line anymore and i have to save those for when i got to my parents.

Maybe it's a scam?

You have no clue if the facility or if workers from the site owner is bidding up units. I had friends bid up my eBay auctions before.  So it just comes down to, if are you willing to pay the final price that you bid.

I monitored a lot of on-line auctions, only to see the auction get sold, then see that same unit re-listed next month. Makes you think the Facility was trying to boost the $$ amount and failed and then they re-list.

There's really nothing you can do about it. I find is pointless to even look at the lockers available until the last day. So many listings get taken down. Why spend time looking at something that might not be available?

eBay / Re: Strange EBAY dispute resolution
« on: October 11, 2014, 08:48:01 AM »
Do you think so? Even though it's a paypal case and not an ebay case?

I mis-read it was a paypal case.. Sorry about that.

I just had someone open an item not received case, then closed it like 2 hours later without interaction from me..

I had to call ebay to get them to remove the defect from my account or it would count against me.

It's still going to count against your Top Seller Rating for "Item not as describe" you might want to call ebay and tell them to re-classify or delete that case.

Can you give me an example of an auction house that accepts low end merchandise and how much of a cut do they take?

I drop off the electronics at the scrap yard, they always give me $$ for them

I'm teasing of course, you're actually quite humorous and level tempered. I'm pretty sure Luke was just teasing as well.

I wasn't teasing, that was my general impression based on he represents himself. It's like "The Voice" Blind Auditions. Not being mean or anything, just my perception without seeing a face to back it up. Maybe his avatar had something to do with it. From this point forward I will view him as a grumpy old man instead.

I always picture Alloro as a grumpy old lady.

I just don't like the thread view and the silly green + button..

Rest of it is fine.
