If you have anything that is obviously of value but you are having trouble selling online, take it to a pawn shop and ask for $100... they might offer you $20 bucks or something...take it and be glad you sold the item.

Welcome to the Online Storage Auctions Forum / Hi from ATL area
« on: January 04, 2011, 06:14:42 PM »
I'm new to this and can't wait to get out and bid on some units. I'm one of the many who learned about this hobby/business from watching Storage Wars on A&E. I will post any valuable or bizzarre findings in this forum. I work noon to 8pm daily as general manager of a restaurant, so my schedule is perfect for attending some auctions before work during the week! I bought a used 1982 Ford pickup truck for $700 bucks, and I'm ready to fill it up with some treasures! I have had an ebay account and have bought and sold collectible cards since 2004, so I am planning on selling any small valuable items on eBay and any large items I will sell on craigslist. I have ALOT of basement space for storage of this stuff so I am ready to start (hopefully) making some supplement income on the side. I have already bought shipping supplies, a postal digital scale, some padlocks, and a mag flashlight. Like I said, I can't wait to get started!
