On the show they want to get the "unique" item appraised, that strange "what the (bleep) is this" on TV. Going to see if a Rolex is real or not (other than that one episode on SWNY with Tad and Chris) doesn't really hit with the unique.

Storage Facilities / Re: Reasons people lose their storage unit
« on: March 26, 2014, 09:09:38 AM »
Plethora of reasons: economy, law breakers, divorce, death, etc.

I lost a storage unit in '92. We sold our business and packed everything in vaults for storage at a moving company. Leftover items went into storage. Then everything fell apart. Economy hit us hard and we lost everything. In that unit I lost my high school lettered jacket from varsity volleyball and soccer. VHS tapes of my son's soccer games. Irreplaceable items.

We did not have a stable environment to house the items and the next thing we knew, we were off to the east coast to look for a job. We kept our important papers/documents with us. But my son's baby book, lettered jacket, and few other items, no way to replace them.

Sometimes people go through hard times. When the choice is to eat or pay the rental fees, it's not a hard choice. We never went back to try to get any personal items for too much time had gone by and we were already in another state. It's a loss none of us have recovered from to this day.

I meant with your camera phone. If it's too far away, if you get a chance to talk to him, get a selfie. Couldn't hurt to ask, because you know I'll post it!

I don't know, Alias. I'll do some test photos on my tablet and reply back today. It might be more this type of forum. I am use to working on Vbulletin.

It's a new day.

It doesn't have structure or really a path to follow. I like his antics which is why I'll watch a bit more.

Are you allowed to take a photo of the Dotsons as they are on panel?

Thanks, Luke. That was very thoughtful of you.

I just made a note of that. Thanks for the info.

Here's a quote from an article about titles:

Titles are not protected by U.S. copyright laws (which is why so many books have the same titles). To qualify for copyright protection, a work needs to possess “a significant amount of original expression”—and while “a significant amount of original expression” isn’t fully defined by hard-and-fast rules, the courts have ruled that expressions as short as book titles do not qualify.

The shortcut is to pay for ads. A good way to is "like" other businesses or people interested in the type of merchandise you are trying to sell. Join groups and really interact.

You need an eBay trader to do the work for you. That's what I would do just to clear some of the clutter.

Memo book or make a note with an alarm on your smart phone. Everywhere I go I have access to a memo book and pen.

To be published over 250 news sites, that's incredible. It will be interesting to see if the numbers of unique hits picks up this coming month.
