General Storage Auction Talk / Re: Tips for moving your merchandise

I guess I would take anything valuable first. Following that, I would take the big stuff in a truck and pack the little stuff in my SUV.

If there was an error I would probably say something. I am no good at staying quiet about a mistake someone made that may or may not benefit me. I would feel like I was stealing something.

I guess it would depend on the quality but I would likely just donate it to goodwill or something of the sort.

Hard to say but I can't imagine them making much on junk items. Sounds like a quick way to make a cheap buck.

I kind of agree with the above post. It seems like it would end up wasting time in the long run. I am still new to this an all so I could be wrong.

New to Storage Auctions? / Re: Why do I have to sign in and show ID?

After reading through the comments it makes sense. There are a lot of things that require ID now a days just to make sure money is made or for safety reasons.

That is insane! I go t a lot of garage sales but never come across the good stuff. Recently, my grandparents had to have their house cleared out. So my family was sorting and selling their stuff. They had some old mason jars are were worth $100+ and they sold them for $1 each!

New to Storage Auctions? / Re: How do you get a title to a motorcycle?
« on: November 13, 2014, 11:01:30 AM »
Titles are complicated from my end. Anytime I find a good deal on a car and see "No title or papers" I immediately forget about it. A lot of times, these vehicles are stolen. Just be cautious and make sure you have proof of where it came from.

No, if you win a unit, you immediately put your own lock on it.

Ah! Okay, this is making a little more sense now. I will continue to read stuff on the forum to fully grasp everything.  :13:

I worry about using craigslist as I have said in another post. I know a few people who use ebay but that seems to be too much for me. I am not to familiar with online selling... Only buying :p

Thanks, I will look in to this. That is probably a good idea. I have only been to one with a friend but I was't paying much attention lol

I loved so many he was in. I guess Mrs. Doubtfire was probably my favorite. I also enjoyed Fluber. haha I was so sad when I heard he had passed. So sad hearing about great men ad women who make us laugh dying. :/

Want to talk lame... I sat at home and did nothing. I wasn't feeling up to walking out with the kids, my youngest didn't want to go in the rain. Me and her stayed home and made cookies. Everyone I know was either at a party or out doing something. The cookies were nice though haha

I was wondering about pictures as well. If there are no pictures, can't you get scammed?
