So lets just say that it wasnt, lets just say he really didn't want the unit, would it be considered bad if I would have offered him half the amount he paid for the locker?

Ohh so that's what happen then..  :o

I saw this when I went to the auctions on Friday, there was a locker, it looked ok, well guy (A) bids 50.00 then guy (B) wants to drive up the bid and say as 60.00, I noticed he didnt want it was just trying to make the other guy pay more, guy (A) says 65.00 and guy (b) says 75.00, guy (A) back outs, guy (B) curses as he puts his locker on the unit....well I was thinking if he paid 75.00 or it is it bad I would to offer him 45.00 for it, you know without him looking through. He didnt want it was just trying to drive up the bid.... what would yall say if this were to happen to you and you are offered half of what your winning bid was?

I don't think they will bring you much.

Best thing is to just sit on them for a little longer, you never know when the collector market picks up again.
But right now most cards are not selling. Only the really special ones.

yeah and I don't have a lot of speacial ones....but what about Michael Jordan, I probably have a about a hundred of his cards?

I have a bunch of basketball cards, mostly from the 90s and 2000s.

Okay I apologized for the previous posts with the smileys, I was using my phone and the whole post will be erased and just post the smileys....
But here is how it went....my first auction...well it was actually 2 auctions....1 in Channelview (just outside of Houston, 15 mins from my house) and 1 in Baytown (about 30 mins from my house, but 15 from where I was in Channelview)

The one in Channelview was at 10:30, I got there and saw about 15 people outside but soon another 15 people came, in total I think there was about 35 - 40 people there, the units in my opinion were pretty much garbage, nothing I really wanted to bid on, the ones that looked sort of good were going for over 200.00 thats more than what I wanted to spend. There was a total of about 13 units, 2 of them were under 100.00 on2 had a recliner and bags of clothes and I think a fishing rod in the back, went for 45.00 and another that had about 5 bags of clothes (I think) it went for 65.00. The auction was over by 11:45, and I was told by others of the other auction in Baytown, so I decided to go to that one as well...

Baytown, 12:30 start....I get there and see about 30 cars outside and I am thinking what the heck, there's about 50 people there, and the bids were higher here but in my opinion a little bit better stuff, one had a scooter but it was taken a part a bit, it went for 375.00 and the last one had a hoveraround it went for 400.00.

All in all I think it was a good experience I didnt buy anything, didnt even bid, but I am just waiting my turn, I get something.
