If anyone has any questions about storage auctions in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, feel free to ask them here or send me a private message.

I read they are starting a Storage Wars Dallas, have they started filming yet?
-
They contracted with an Auctioneer out of Longview, TX and they also signed bidders from Longview and Tyler.
-
Since the show is scheduled to premier in fall, I would imagine that they are already filming. I should be hitting some auctions in the Dallas area around July 23rd, while I'm there promoting our new website. I'll let you guys know what I hear or see.

Does anyone have any Intel on where Storage Wars Dallas might be filming. I have been finding out only AFTER they were at a location. None of the websites are posting the locations. I want to watch the filming. Info anyone?

Howdy! :)
I have been to two of the tapings and they only notify the storage managers the night before. There are 5 main characters so far, Bubba and Ricky, Lisa, Vic (from Longview area) and Roy Williams (yep, the one that was the DB for the Cowboys). The only thing I find bad is that what should take 1.5 max hours for larger auctions take 3 or more due to the retaping scenes plus the the units that should go for 150 to 200 go for around 600 to 800 for the show. They have had two auctioneers one being Jackie Sutton and the main one (I am gathering) is Walt Cade from Longview. Hope this helps. :)

You can thank the storage auction reality shows for ruining a once lucrative business. And it's not just occurring while they're taping, storage units are selling for record amounts throughout the country.

Anyone know of good auctions that are on the weekend for those of us who have another job?

Thanks! Im really interested in that wine auction, but gotta go to the mccart auction. Wish they were spread out more
-
Should have gone to the wine auction, the mccart auction was all junk.
-
If I showed up to one and see camera crews, I'm leaving.
First, I have zero desire to be on TV
Second, I already anticipate lockers going for too much
Third, I don't want to stand around for three hours while they 'get it right'
Count me out..

I still think the show makes Texas look like a bunch of bumpkins! I really don't like the format or actually much about any of the Texas one.

This is your list?
Yes it is. We publish the complete storage auction schedule for the Dallas Fort Worth area. On average, we list over 300 storage auctions every month. You can get more information at http://auctionstx.com/.
