I'll take Cali's climate over Texas any day of the week.
This is one thing on which Travis and I will agree.
I grew up in KS, lived in Dallas for a year and moved to California. High humidity matched with high temps is no fun.
Looking at Weatherspark's humidity summaries for two locations, they don't look all that different, but when you look at the months when the humidty is highest in each location and THEN factor in what the temps might be during those times it makes more sense.
Either way, its not the Pacific NorthWest !
