Texas Storage Auction Laws

Well, during my conversation with Jim, I had to do a little legal research. I have read the legal mumbo jumbo several times before but, after reading in again, I noticed a loop hole that makes online storage auctions legal in all states. Sorry, I can't say more right now but I'll update everyone soon.

That’s a ridicules assumptive statement. Those without money would not be bidding and specifically, buying lockers at auction.

Not really since those without cash yet have credit cards, could bid if the credit cards were allowed. Requiring all sales to be CASH ONLY disqualifies those with credit cards but without cash, from bidding. Like I said, this is the polar opposite of online sites requiring a credit card to be able to bid and disqualifying those with cash and no credit card.

The attorney for the Texas Self Storage Association has said that, in her opinion, online storage auctions are a "public sale." However, they are not "at the facility or a reasonably near public place."
