Here's another site covering the exit of Barry.

All the network publishers printing this story say the same thing.

"The insider said Weiss doesn’t pay for the storage lockers, the production company does"

That would explain a lot....
But what a hussle.  Get paid to appear, they pay for unit, you sell inventory....I need in on this!

Raises the question:  if the production company pays then what incentive do you have to stop bidding?  Must be a cap?  Does everyone have a different cap and that's why they stop?  Everyone start with a budget, spend what you want but that's all your getting?   Perhaps rigged so they know from start who will win?

Things that make ya go hmmm....and then make pancakes.

Well, this definitely adds credibility to Dave Hester's allegations.

Those shows probably caused irreparable damage ton the entire industry.

Evn the people hanging in are never going to have the same returns as they had.

People now know their **** gets SOLD and they don;t get evicted, meaning the quality is down.

Even though every working brain cell in the world KNEW from the getgo the shows were rigged some idiots will still go in and make all the classic newbee mistakes for ever.

Oh well, I hope it was worth it for the TV 'stars'....
Dave Hester was the first to learn that his 15 minuts of fame ruined his career for ever.
I hope it paid well, while it was going strong.

I wonder if the shuffleboard thing where he brought out his whole cast of "wacky sidekicks" was his swan song?

I think I was too much Supernatural because I was expecting them to start the show with a "The road so far.." and montage of Barry clips set to "Carry on my Wayward Son"

Welcome to the wonderful world of TV. They been doing this since the 1950's. Guess they why they call it Entertainment and since day critic and others called the show fake but people decided to believe different and showed up in massive heards from auction site to auction site waiting to get that big score they saw on TV. Kind of like the monkey see monkey do theory. As they say if you build it they will come

I think the analogy here is...

"Storage Wars" is to the storage locker resale business
as
"WWE Smackdown" is to greco-roman olympic wrestling.
