I'd certainly enjoy replying to this, but it's too close to incoherent babel to be able to properly address.

If you don't understand what he said, perhaps you could Google the larger words.  ;D

I've tried contacting Travis and don't get a response. My mod powers limit me to only deleting posts but not topics. So if a spammer starts a new topic all I can do is delete the subject line and contents which I have been doing, then I add "to be deleted", can't even ban the user. I've asked Travis to change this for me and no response to that request either. I stopped doing all of that because if he doesn't care then why should I keep trying.

Good point. I gave up on him years ago so you are more patient than I am. He won't be back. His Facebook is like a draft from the bible but he has no faith in this endeavor any more, and with good reason. You can't virtually abandon something and then come back (as he did) with "What's up?". To which was YOUR response, an emoticon scratching its head. Remember that?

IMO, that woman he hired to run this website destroyed it by driving away 90% of those that posted here. She would delete post she deemed not valuable enough, so people got ticked off and stopped posting.

I never wanted to give up on Travis, I know he's had personal, medical issues and major surgery so I'm more than will to help, but I need the tools to do that and he's not giving them which frustrates me.

ChuckG ("that woman") you mention above told me that she recommended that Travis delete all the posts that movieman had posted but apparently he resisted due to the size of that contribution and how it would impact the "count" on the website.

Don't know if you were around when "storme" deleted each of his many posts on the forum. It was a large number and after that Travis disabled the ability of any member to delete his own posts.

Sorry, but IMO, Travis was his own worst enemy from the get go. When he was just a member and not the owner of the website his racist and homophobic posts jumped out from all the others. When he bought the site he deleted all those posts which indeed would have painted a negative picture of himself to any future members who came along.

His crowning touch was his history on eBay where a dozen or so high-end items were never shipped and his account was shut down due to fraud. His claim of course was that his account was "hacked" and that he was a victim not a perpetrator. This was AFTER he even denied the account was his. The internet is full of electronic crumbs which were followed and verified at the time of this fiasco.

Then of course there was auctions.tx where customers of his list of storage auctions in multiple Texas cities stopped receiving monthly lists, but were still continuing to be automatically billed on their credit cards.

Nope, he made his bed and now he is lying in it including a forum which still claims to have over 100 viewers daily (very hard to believe) considering new content is spam and contributions to any given thread are sporadic at best and non-existent as a norm for all the rest.  The interest in storage auctions is dead compared to what it used to be and that is a reason for the decline here as well.

So, maybe if he ever sees this post it will raise him from the dead....if so, that will be interesting to view. If not, then no news is still good news.
