With Dave Hester gone, is the original Storage Wars destined for cancellation? Would they even try to continue the show without him?

i think they would go on without him , I tended to like him the least out of anyone on there
i think the show would go on as well unless there are severe legal problems, I dont like what its done to the industry but i have to admit its entertaining

Well, if they do decide to cancel to show, they still have to honor all of the other cast members contracts and if those numbers are similar to Hester's salary, A&E/Original Productions could be out millions.

Personally I enjoyed the episodes more that he wasn't in.

Well, I guess the main question is, could the original Storage Wars recover after Dave's allegations?

i think it will go on , but if it hasnt jumped the shark its getting closer

As long as the ratings are there they will keep the show. It's one of the top shows for the network. Even if it drops a few points in the ratings it's more profitable then some of the other shows they have on the network now. You can only do so many re-runs before people move on to other networks. If anything - they will move the time slots around for a bit.

Yeah, I agree, they won't ditch the shows. I don't see them making any more episodes of the original Storage Wars, but the Texas & New York shows probably have a few more seasons in them.

if 2 1/2 men can go on without charlie sheen this can certainly go on without hester , im curious as the whom would replace hjim as i dont like mark nabilla or jeff

2 1/2 is not a reality based show they have real actors. Storge bors is based on reality with below skill acting. Unless you are saying you love the barry wise scence, who would want to watch a totall set up show that was made to fool people into watching. Its like watch a magic show with out the magic. Well people did contiue to watch wrestling after they knew it was fake. Guess people can watch and tell themselves this show is real and hester lied, but if he did lie he would be sued for millions and loose everything and the laywer he has would ruin his reputation on hesters lies. You lie to the public and they will turn there back on these shows.
