Got my first Locker Today!! So Far So Good!

My 2nd attendance to a Storage Auction and Got 1 locker for 650.00 plus tax. 

went in the front of the locker but didnt go all the way back.  I can see art in frames all standing and stacked to each other. 

This person who used to own this locker was into art and commemorative plates and etc. 


I only found one in the front,  could be more in the back. 


I got paid 180.00 already for this commemorative  plate.  8.5 oz at sterling silver price / ebay price.

I sold a old steam cleaner for 40.00 right after the storage ended. 

got someone to come out and look at this parts washer for 45.00. 

Total $ 265.00 in 4 hours since the auction began.


The locker is still full and havent gone through yet.

sounds like you might walk away with a nice profit on that one! i walked away losing money on the first couple units i've bought....good luck with the rest!

Looks like you did well on this one; you jumped in at reasonable high price for someone buying his first locker and looks like you called it right.

Now, you can expect the next 49 buys will be average, not spectacular !

I just went through some boxes and trashed them.  Mostly family albums (its sad because the person who owned this locker died (she was old)  They had some specular wedding pictures from the 40's and again, it just truly sad. 

am i supposed to feel sad? 

Today, it hit me when they say you cant take stuff to the grave so it gets left behind for me to dispose. 

anyways.  Im halfway through. 

they have a dresser from 1889 that im going to look into tomorrow. 

Very nice first locker. Guess I will be assuming right when I say that now you have the auction bug

$705 total..  Yes i broke even..   Frickin sucks. 


2nd auction I went to last saturday.


1st locker went for 700 - full of house furnture and etc.  I passed
2nd locker went for 400 - I was bidding to win,  Lost it. 


but..  I went back and talk ed to the 2nd locker new owner -  bought 3 bmx bikes 


Paid 40.00

Made 100 on one bike.
Made 1000.00 on 2nd bike
3rd bike, i still have....
