Title: Dan Dotson 4-20% survival rate
Post by: auctionguy on June 21, 2014, 04:38:38 PM
I'm sure some of you have seen that Dan Dotson had a double embolism last night and went under the knife today.  Apparently they got it in time but they aren't sure of his full recovery yet.

Besides being active non stop with his booming business and he is a pretty big smoker I have noticed that when they show him lately on the show he is really starting to pack on the pounds.

Hopefully this is a wake up call.  He was always a super nice guy.

I just saw the news about Don Dotson and he was just released from the hospital after the aneurysm surgery. The employees at the storage facility were talking about it earlier that I had to check immediately. I'm a big fan of Storage Wars and the show won't be the same without him. We thought he wouldn't survive the double brain aneurysm surgery but he did!  Everyone who supports the storage show were tweeting about his release endlessly.

BTW, the wife had 3 brain aneurysms taken care of not too long ago. Because of the locations regular surgery wasn't an option. We found these doctors in NY that had developed a stent similar in design to a Chinese finger trap. They snake the stent in through an artery and stopped it right over the aneurysm. After a week or so the blood clots the opening to the aneurysm by clinging onto the stent. Done deal and she was up and walking the next day.
