Title: Media in California Still Writing Stories About Storage Auctions
Post by: MovieMan on July 30, 2013, 07:49:29 AM
Will it never die ?

This story in my own area....central valley of California.  The 400-500 mile long central valley is known for all the produce grown here that moves out all over the country....strawberries, brocolli, asparagus, walnuts, almonds, you name it.....and the whole state of California shares the joy and grief of the storage auction business.

Here's our latest entry:
recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20130728/A_NEWS/307280312&cid=sitesearch

The auctioneer, Joe Ward, is the most respected of any of the auctioneers in central California.

The land of fruits and nuts....that sounds about right.  ;D

All kidding aside, I spent 3 years in Orange County and I can honestly say, Californians are probably some of the nicest and most open minded people I have ever meet.

I don't know if I have the right state pictured below or not, but.....

"Texas....home of steers and queers"

I lived in Dallas for a year (after migrating from Kansas) and really don't have much to say about it one way or the other, but I DO remember moving to California after that.

Kansas, why did you ever leave? Don't you know there's no place like home?
