Purple Heart Found In Storage Auction

So far the family hasn't claimed the medal. It belong to World War II veteran named Theodore W. Maybaugh.

He arrived in Europe on Dec. 15, 1943, and served in Normandy, northern France, the Rhineland and central Europe. He was wounded on Sept. 3 and 8, 1943, and was awarded the Purple Heart that October. Maybaugh was discharged on Oct. 25, 1945. He died in 1985.
