Looks like ol' Dave won round two of his legal battle with A&E.

I would imagine there will be a settlement pretty soon. Probably $250-350K.

im surprised nobody has offered him his own realtiy show, although heck maybe he already has one if anyone else knows? just seems anyone can get a reality show these days and every reality show winds up with one or two of the characters getting their own spinoff show

I never really liked Dave that much, too big a douche. I am glad that he is exposing that the tv shows sensationalize this business. Can you d=find valuable stuff in lockers? Yes Is every unit gonna be profitable? Hell no, well they can be if you don't buy the unprofitable ones ;-) I had been wanting to start attending storage auctions long before the show came out. My wife was never on board. Then she watched Storage Wars one week while I was on travel for work, when I came home she said lets do it. I watched a few episodes of the show and I was exited and hooked. I have bought about 15 lockers since then, some only turned a little profit, some huge profits, but all would have been losers if I paid the amounts they seem to be paying on the show. I watched a few episodes again and was shocked by the amounts they were paying for these lockers $3000- $10000 and then they go and start throwing out what they think they are worth.  :D
I am sorry but if I bought a locker for $10000 and sold the contents for $11000-$12000, I would call that a loss, not a win, time, hired help, gas, what not, I'll stick with my lower priced lockers with less work and a quicker return on investment, if I buy 4 lockers for $500 each and make $500 on each one that is $2000 profit with less time effort and work, oh yeah I also have the other $8000 still to buy other lockers with.
Sorry for the book, I need to learn to be more concise.  :(
