Title: Are the facilities in your location changing to cylinder locks?
Post by: Cobia on August 16, 2014, 07:47:33 AM
I've noticed that both Public Storage and Uncle Bob's in my area are changing out the doors on storage units and replacing them with built in cylinder locks. Is this happening in other areas?

We will have to scrap our padlocks and disc locks and invest in a bunch of cylinder locks.  :41:

Just PS here in Austin. Not a popular decision amongst the bidders.

I bet.  These storage facilities realize that most people don't own a cylinder lock, nor even know where to buy one.  Just another way to earn additional revenue.
