Title: No Smoking At Storage Auctions
Post by: Travis on November 29, 2012, 12:19:03 AM
Lately, I have been seeing more and more storage companies and auctioneers putting "no smoking" in their rules and legal notices. I'm sure storage facility managers / owners are getting upset with the cigarette butts that are being left behind; however, I haven't seen them enforce the no smoking rule in my area. Are any storage facilities or auctioneers in your area enforcing this rule?

Most of the facilities around here don't want you smoking on their property.  I don't smoke....doesn't affect me in the least!

Yes, they are doing this here also. I'm glad, I have no problem with people smoking (if that's their choice), just not at a closed in place that already stinks to high heaven anyway and gets in our faces!

I doubt they're concerned about the fire hazard aspect. It's kind of hard to burn concrete and corrugated metal.
