Thanks! My goal is to donate a portion of the profits to a different charity each quarter. If we get super popular, it'll be a monthly donation. This way, we get new people into the shop to support their charity on a constant basis and hopefully some of those will swing back through even when their charity is not featured.

Looks good. You definitely made good use of the space. Did you already have the fixtures or did you have to buy them or better yet did you find them in a storage unit?

Slat wall was already up as were nails throughout the store. I had to buy slat wall shelf brackets (4=$12), waterfalls(7=$21), a slat wall shelf ($8), 2 dowels ($6) and 2 shelves (MDF from Home Depot at $10 a sheet, cut in half)
All free standing shelving, bookshelves etc. were from storage units. I'll need a bunch more hooks and shelving I suspect as we grow, but I'm hoping to pull more stuff from storage units.

I would imagine that you're only displaying the really nice stuff for your grand opening.
How did you go about determining what went in and what stayed out....or did you leave that to wifey? ;D

We actually are able to get most of our stuff out. We do have miscellaneous stuff in the back still, but we're trying to figure out how to get some more out. But yes, it is mainly the wife's decision on what goes out where.. I'm glad to relinquish that responsibility to her.
