What is a tool maker you might ask? An over paid machinist :67:. I have been doing machine shop work since 1980. To do something for that long you have to love what you do and I do. For the last 12 years I have been working in Research and Development. Pretty cool stuff. I program, setup and run CNC equipment and all the manual machines also. Its cool taking a chunk of metal and turning it into something that goes on a million dollar machine. My hours are 6am to 2:30 which leaves some time in the afternoon for my growing passion of BUYING AND SELLING BABY. Have I mentioned that I need to work on the selling part? :73: Well that's my other job.

That's pretty cool. You know you have job stability when you're the guy programming the CNC.

Thanks Travis. Yes it is becoming a lost art, not many young people are getting into the trade.
