Title: "Repurposing" Is that a word?
Post by: House of Treasures on July 30, 2014, 05:49:57 PM
While on vacation I was in a Thrift Store and spotted a unique display case. Someone had made a wooden box, put some felt on the bottom and used a picture frame as the top. I have a lot of frames I may make up a few and use them at the flea market.

Any other ideas on repurposing items that seem to be in every unit that don't sell that well?

"Repurposing" Is that a word?

Isn't that when your girlfriend said no the first time and you ask again?  :hee20hee20hee:

Nope, that's called begging.

We have made a couple of those old frame display boxes. They work well. We hinged the tops and used plastic or plexiglass rather than glass. One of them is quite large and while it holds quite a bit of stuff it is really awkward to open. Other than that they are great.
