Alan Greenspan has been quoted as saying that playing $1 in the lottery is a good investment. Of course, I think it was a tongue in cheek comment regarding the stock market at the time... But I'm going to do it! I'm going to buy a $1 quick pick cash 5 lottery ticket every day it's available to play. I'll lye you guys know if (when) I win!

You're better of playing the daily numbers. You only have to hit it once a year to be ahead. Then you're playing with the state's money.

That's why I chose the cash $5. Match 5 numbers, win $50k.. At least.. Also has prizes for matching 2-3-4 numbers.. Last night. Matched 1 number.. Now, do I play the same ticket, or continue to do quick picks?

I would play the same number all year just to make it scientifically consistent.
