OOPS ::) - saw this on my local Craigslist ----->
I want my items back!!!!! - $1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had a yard sale on feb 24 and 25th and the following items are now gone which were NOT apart of the sale nor were they paid for!!!!! A silver and black video camera still on the charging doc, a Panasonic digital camera, 2 thumb drives, and a purple sylvania mp3 player!!!! A woman purchased a black 2 drawer metal filing cabinet and the items were believed to have been put in there:( If you were the one who bought the cabinet please return my stuff and there will be no harsh feelings. There are priceless pics and videos on these!!!! A police report will be filed as the items being stolen if I don't hear anything in a couple days. Please please please have a heart and return my items!!!! Thanks so much!!!

If you sell something and left something in it that's your bad.
Buyer is a dick if they kerp it buy didn't commit a crime. What's the police gonna do?
And if they aren't the type to see the right thing to do is return items, obvious mistake, they aren't gonna admit to police they were in there.
Insurance scam?
Post a public notice. Police report. Insurance claim.

What I love is the dates took that long to realize the items were missing. Almost two weeks.
Alias think you are right some kind of scam.

If something was stolen why wait to file a police report.Sounds strange.

If I'm understanding what happened correctly, nothing was really stolen. These items were left inside of a filing cabinet and the filing cabinet was sold. This is the same as selling a jewelry box and forgetting to remove the jewelry first. It's a 'Doh" moment for the seller and a bonus moment for the buyer.
