Title: Is it stealing if.....
Post by: Alias300 on January 11, 2013, 04:09:23 PM
The grocery store had preformed bacon, cheddar, hamburger patties. Four 1/4lb patties for $5.
But five weren't marked $5 but $0.50!    So I grabbed them all.  5lbs of burger for $2.50.

Figured I could use not just for burgers but scramble over rice or hamburger pasta with beans......

But now I feel guilty.  Is not telling them stealing?   ???

Yes, yes it is stealing and you're going to Hell.  Just kidding   Since it's ground meat, the butchers might actually be having the last laugh. Even if you would have told them, most grocery stores would still honor the marked price.

Here in Texas at H.E.B. grocery stores, if you find any meat that is still on the shelf that is past it's expiration date, just bring it to the checkout and they reward you by giving you another one that hasn't expired absolutely free.

I just try to do things legit, might push the boundaries a bit, but over all have the 'be a good person and good things will come to you' philosophy.    So I do this kind of thing and I think I'm going to wake to my car stolen or something.......
