Holy Crap it's cold !

Last Sunday I went hiking in shorts and a t-shirt and today and the next two days it's going to
get down to 25 overnight with highs of only 50 during the day.

This may not be a big deal for people in some states, but here it's unusual.

The central valley of California is responsible for something like 85% of the nation's food supply for things like
oranges, limes, strawberries, and other similar crops, and while things like walnuts, almonds  and strawberries have already been harveted, the citrus crops may be in trouble.  Such is the life of the grower.

Meanwhile, the snowy tv shots of the plains, upper northwest snow storms and ice storms elsewhere still make me glad I'm out west.

  Shoot, around here we still wear shorts, play lawn jarts, and barbecue in that kind of weather.

Heck no.   Best time to go.  Weeds out the compition and, better yet, the kids, spouses, friends.....
No waiting for 100 looky loo's with no intention of bidding.

It's cold here too.   Almost 11:30 and my car still has ice covering it.   I've been doing indoor stuff.  Haven't even ventured out.   Really should.  It's so nice out.  Just to lazy in the nice warm house.  I didnt even get out of bed untill 10am.   Just grabbed the laptop and got caught up on some work from the comfort of my bed.   

Lows for us here are going to be in the teen tonight and tomorrow. Grapes are all picked but lettuce, strawberries and avocado farmers are freaking out. Bring on the smudge pots.

Shoot, I'm in shorts today and will be tomorrow and Friday. I may even have to flip the AC on in the store tomorrow and Friday. Saturday it gets chilly, but still only upper 40s to 50s.
