There's a sucker born every minute...P.T. Barnum

And apparently this guy found a lot of them and relieved them of their money.

In the NBC Today show clip I saw the woman invested only $40 to start, but then the salesmen started calling, and everytime it was a grand or so for a website, a tracking counter (wow, a grand for that), etc. She lost $6k.
