Went to a silent auction in may 2012 and piked up a locker for $850. It was a 10x20 and was packed full, so you could only see the boxes in front. From first glance it didnt look special, just ceiling high piled boxes, but i did notice a sterling silver spoon and could see the edge of an antique fire hydrant so i took a stab at it. WOW what a locker. Had 4 large rubbermaids of costume jewelry going back to 1940's, antiques galore and collectibles to name a few Coca cola trays 1930's batman and robin banks 1960's, snoopy, rocky bullwinkle, hubley cars, dinky toys, 3 pounds sterling silver, two handfuls gold jewlery, Harley Davidson items, 1960's and 70's Hess trucks, $58 in pennies yeah pennies, antique china "stored in backpacks, so 10 pieces were broke, why o why", and the list could continue for three more paragraphs. All in all I earned over $30,000 and still have alot of stuff. OH forgot the best item a 1968 Omega watch known as the moon watch due to it being worn by the crew on first moon landing actual model i have is same one worn by Apollo 13 crew, has a special seal in back for space and crystal front is actually special plastic so it doesn't shatter in space and get glass shards everywhere. The retail value is $5 - $6 K.

Wow, congratulations! I'm still waiting for a unit like that. Sounds like you really know your antiques.

Glad you hit that locker in 2012 instead of 2013 or I would be out of the "Best finds of 2013" thread for sure! ;)

I sell via Ebay, Etsy, Fleamarket, and in the process of renting co-op spaces at antique malls.
