Not Really A Treasure But...

I bought a locker on Tuesday for $400.. Had a complete king size bedroom set with mattress. Mattress was lightly used, and wrapped in plastic. Put it up on craigslist with 8 pics today at 4 p.m. for $1,000. Sold it today at 6:45 for $900. Still have the misc stuff to go through and post, nothing exciting. A decent plate set for 4, another plate set but missing 1 dinner plate, microwave, 3 Time Warner Cable boxes, and some UNC basketball jerseys (Nike)..

I was shocked at how quickly I sold this bedroom set! I swore when I bought it, I'd be hanging onto it for a couple of weeks!

It's the right time of the year for furniture.  Feb - April is when I can sell just about anything I can get my hands on.  People have income tax money and are looking to buy.  The rest of the year it still sells but not as fast.  Is also why units go up in price about this time.  You have the stores needing inventory bad, plus the newbies with tax money to burn.
