After Alloro indicated there WERE in fact auctions in the U.K. I did a quick search and found that every auction source (auctioneers, forums, etc) just glommed on to the request but provide nothing but USA info.....until....

Interesting: In the UK, when a locker is ready to be sold, many storage establishments have a list of previous buyers who are always on the market for a new storage locker to make some money.
The bidding in the UK is mainly done via email and phone and the storage establishment owner will simply sell the locker on to the highest bidder; no bids bouncing off each other, no open rivalry, just a few emails and the locker could be yours.
