Aston Martin Lagonda!  They just sold this a little over a month ago.  Only went a little over 10 grand, and it ended up running like a champ!  The guys that bought it will make a bunch of money on that!

I haven't seen one.  They've all been cars needing restoring, or they've been total junkers.

I have so far seen 4 cars in a unit.

Jaguar S type
Dodge Seebring
Chevy Tahoo
Mazda 626

All of them was more or less parts cars.

But there is a car up for auction tomorrow, it is a 2004 VW golf.
So that might be a good one.

Saw a Datsun 280Z in a unit. Had less then 10000 miles on it and was about 15 years old. Covered with dust and tires flat.  had been in the unit like 13 years acording to the managment.  Sold for $4000.  Assuming it could be made to run it should have been a great deal at that price it was a near new car but when a car sits that long there are issues with everything requireing lubrication. It may cost a bit to get it in shape to drive.

Mostly do downtown units so not many cars stored in facilities.   Some scooters and motorcycles.

Top: 1972 convertible Stingray.  Straight with bad top and paint.

Runner up:  Amatuer circuit stock car.  Lots of parts. Pretty rough, not pretty. But cool car.

2006 Hyundai Elantra - the guy next to me bid it up to about $500 below book value. It was up on jack stands and the harmonic balancer was was laying next to the wheel. Saw him again a week later and said "how did you make out on that Hyundai?" He told me that the engine was locked up.

Two years later, and I still haven't seen anything that would top the Aston Martin!  There was a pretty cool 1970 Range Rover that looked to be in really good condition.  Most of the vehicles I see are either rusted out or taken apart and are just good for scrap and/or parts.  Although at one facility a guy has a 1967 Corvette that has been sitting under their covered storage for years, and I'm always hopeful that one day he won't pay his bill.........

By chance is tht a facility on West Valley Hwy?

There's one that's been stored since 1990 (when I firt saw it, maybe longer).  Guy has spent more on storage than the car (in its condition) is worth.....
