Title: Are Pokemon Cards still popular or is that over and done with?
Post by: rulesforrebels on March 21, 2011, 05:09:47 PM
I have a few boxes full of baseball, football basketball cards I found in a unit. I did't even really bother sorting through the cards as I did a rough sort through an nothing but mid 90's stuff and later.

I did however come across a few hundred pokemon cards. I remember a few years ago that stuff was really popular, is it still in the right market or with the right circles or is that totally done?

I checked on ebay stuff seems to be listed for decent prices but looks like little if any is selling

Not sure about the Pokemon cards, but I know there's still a market for Magic cards. If you have a game shop in your area (like a specialty type shop) they are probably your best bet for determining value. I have a couple friends who play Magic, so I will typically offer up those cards to them first and they are up on the current value.

Hope this helps.

Yeah if you find old magic the gathering cards from the early 90's they are worth a ton of money... but even the new ones can be worth alot too but the old cards can be in the thousands for mint condition alpha beta and unlimited rares
