The unit I bought contained over one hundred huge martial arts trophies from the 80's and 90's. Are they worth anything? Should I try to sell them to a trophy shop for parts or do people actually collect the larger ones?

The only time I can ever remember being in the market for a used trophy was at one point when I was trying to build a huge gaudy franken-trophy for a fantasy football league I was in...
If I'm indicative of the market I would say it's a pretty limited market.

Maybe I'll get lucky and find someone who tells women he's a martial arts champion to impress them and needs the trophies for credibility.
I'm hoping a trophy shop can use them for parts.

Travis,
You can always try listing them on Ebay, call them "vintage", you might get a couple of bucks for them. I also heard sometimes local trophy shops will buy back the marble bases, but can't say that is so from experience.

they arent worth much imho , but they have been fairly quick sellers for me when ive had them ($1-5 each)
stick them on craigslist cheap and someone will buy them to give to kids someplace or other

From the 80's-90's.. Not very valuable. But trophies are like art. Subject matter makes all the difference. Since you have larger martial arts trophies, you may have better luck than you would a little league trophy..

just looked at the "trophies martial arts" listed in the last 30 days on ebay... 78 listed with about 25% actually sold... sold prices ranged from $2.00 to $60.00. Quite a few individual trophies sold in the $8 to $20 range, with a "LOT" of 18 small trophies went for "make an offer'' on the $60.00 auction
