OK, the Beanie Babies aren't the only "rage" in town...let's hear it for Cabbage Patch Kids from 1983 !

Like any other collectible, the "in the box" tend to bring better prices.

Are people still collecting Cabbage Patch Kids? Which ones are the most collectible/valuable?

i would think theyd be hot now. all the 40 year old women rememebr them from their childhood. kinda like me and my gi joes and transforrmers. But by the prices it doesnt seem like they are too collectible.

I sold a Teddy Ruxpin or however its spelled the one with the tape inside that talks and mouth moves, got a decent buck for that a few years back. I'm was going through my basement looking to clear some stuff out and listed a few cabbage patch dolls on ebay for fairly low prices and non sold, I think relisted a few times and gave up.

I know this is an old post but saw something interesting on tv the other day or maybe it was a vice doc on youtube. Anyhow the cabbage patch kids we all knwo was actually stolen from a lady who made handmade dolls. Hers are where the BIG money is at!!! if you can find one of those origionals. I imagine some special editions are worth a pretty penny, I recently listed 3 I found for like 9.99 plus shipping and nothing sold after relisting 2 or 3 times :(
