Leather Jackets

I realize that quality & condition are a factor, but how much do you usually sell your average leather jackets for?

$25-$50

i should have mentioned, that price is for regular old leather jackets, if they are dusters or exceptionally nice i research them a little more and adjust price accordingly. Also keep in mind I always sell things QUICK. turn and burn so i may not get as high a dollar as some.

I'd say $25-$50 is the general range.  I got $75 at a buffalo exchange for a like new Kenneth Cole.
Were selling new for $400, $100-ish on ebay. 

Funny thing, I had a Wilson's hipster style jacket.  Tried to sell, no bites.  Finally just started westing it.  Wore for two years, never treated, in rain, threw on ground, treated it horribly.

After it was all worn, faded, frayed......then I started getting compliments on my "vintage" coat and people saying if I ever wanted to sell........WTF?   Not vintage, just old....and F'd up.

I bought a unit with 18 leather jackets in it. These were all in very nice shape and most were vintage 70's and 80's. I started at $75.00. I sold three at that price then no hits for two months. I then went down to $50.00. I sold all but three at that price point. Again two months and went down to $40.00. One week later I was out of leather jackets. Total made $945.00 in about 6 months.

Just a note that at $50.00 we were in the middle of summer with 100 degree plus temps.
