Title: So i didnt know the salvation army picks up donations.

Friggin great. Any yall done this, next time ima have them meet me right at the storage place.

Ya - I knew they did it for "large" donations.  However, with only 48-72 hours to get a unit cleaned out I normally don't wait around for them to show up.  Too easy to get burned and a bad rep with the storage facility.

To me its just easier to bring it to them. Take a less chance of them saying they are coming at a certain time, and things get changed for what ever reason.

Im just thinkin say ur van/ truck is packed and the only stuff left is stuff ud donate anyway, could be a good way of not having to make 2 trips

Alot of organizations do.Depends on where you are.

Yeah they do pick up. You might get lucky with a timely pick up. Ours are not real dependable their truck breaks down ect. And I think they have like one or two days only a month for pick up. Little hard to arrange that around your time restraints of your unit. They work on their schedule not yours.

 Now if the manager is an animal lover and you use the Human society as your donation... They might work with you. Or even Hospice... These two are big around here. Let us know if it works out.

Hmm - I've donated dog toys, beds, etc. that I find in units to the local shelters.  I'll have to ask next time if they do pick-up next time I'm in there.
