Title: Are you just a "top seller" or do you have the "plus" after your name?
Post by: MovieMan on January 10, 2014, 10:39:20 PM
If you sell a lot on eBay you might know the difference between the two.  If not, check this thread over the next few days and let's see who comes up with answer.

I have my feelings about the top seller plus and I'll relate them after other members kick in here with their views.

Exceptions to the Top Rated Plus requirements for discount eligibility
Listings with a freight shipping service must accept returns, but aren't required to offer same business day or 1 business day handling.
Listings in the following categories must offer same business day or 1 business day handling, but don't have to accept returns:
Bullion > Silver
Bullion > Gold
Bullion > Platinum & Palladium
Gift Cards
Tickets
The following aren't eligible for Top Rated Plus benefits:
Listings in the Real Estate and Specialty Services categories.

I am a top rated seller, and most if not all of my lisitngs have the top rated plus next to them as I offer the 14 day return policy with stipulations listed in description and in return policy and at checkout and on invoice if sent. ( I only send an invoice if they haven't paid by the next day). I also upload tracking by the end of the next business day. Benefits to me, it knocks my final value fess down to 8% from 10% some months that is a pretty good chunk of change.
