Title: Do you watch your own items on eBay?
Post by: luke on March 23, 2014, 11:19:59 AM
eBay allows you to watch your own items, other buyers see the number of people watching the auction now, they might may an impulsive buy, because if they delay they might think so other buyer will snatch it up before them.

I watch a lot of my own items to show interest. In the future eBay might take a way the ability of watching your own items, but then again they might not, if it makes more conversions.

It couldn't hurt. I can see how it could work to your advantage.

I could be mistaken but I think you can see number of watchers on your own items but you can't see the number of watchers on someone elses.

Also, I doubt one watcher is going to sway someone one way or the other. I would bet for every 100 items I watch I maybe buy 1 or 2.

They changed it so you can see watchers on other peoples items... At least from a PC, it doesn't show it in your mobile apps.

Also I was limited to only being able to watch 200 items..
