Title: Holy bat-shipping
Post by: Alias300 on January 24, 2014, 12:20:31 PM
I made an ebay purchase at 9:47am.   At 10:07am I got a tracking number and message saying they got it packaged just as UPS driver showed up.......

15 minute shipping.   Now that's service!

If it was Amazon Air, it would already be at your doorstep. Might have some shotgun pellets in the box, but hey, it's there!

i work a fulltime job so for me pretty much orders that come in after ive left for work dont go out til the following mornign.  i pretty much get orders comming in 24 hours a day so i do get a lot of people who ordre from say like 3am to 9am as im leaving for work and if im sitting there packing there's probably a few buyers a day who make a purchase at like 8:45 I pack their thing within 5 or 10 minutes and its at the post office 15 minutes later. just the luck of the draw with me if you happen to order right before a fedex pickup or post office run

I live by a sorting center.  So I'll end my auction on Sunday nights. Print label and go drop off.
Even tho it's closed they are still sorting.  So *usually* its outbound by 2-3am.

I had one that the auction ended at 7pm and somehow it arrived to buyer the next morning.  He was only like 50 miles away but still!   Must not have been very busy at PO that night....
And still no feedback!  I swear, No one leaves me feedback

Also, as soon as I get one bid I package it so at end of auction I just need to slap on shipping label.....

I always thought it would be a good idea that if you leave someone feedback, they have 30-days to reciprocate or the feedback you left them gets pulled. After all, why should they receive feedback if they're not willing to give it.

Good idea !  It won't happen, but good idea.

Buyers who don't leave feedback is the reason my feedback policy is as follows:

You send me money.
I send you item.
You send me feedback.
I send you feedback.

******

Yes, I know we've talked about this before; use whatever works for you and for whatever feedback philosophy you hold dear to your heart.

not a bad idea but really only sellers care about feedback most buyers dont care. feedback as a buyer doesn't really affect your account in the same way as feedback as a seller does. i think it should be maybe an auto positive feedback unless they leave negative
