Lol StorMe - think I'd like your dad. Reminds me of an old gentleman that taught me a bunch of stuff when I was a kid.
On the profile thing - I mark my prices so they are pretty set for 80% of my items. The few I don't have set I normally start high and then go lower if it's not selling. As money said the profile of shoppers is about how they shop. I use the profile more to determine what to take/layout at the table then the prices.
Also - in my area 70% of the units I buy have been black families. So I need that ethnic group to show up at my table to sell select items. Those items may sell to other ethnic people but chances of it are low. So if it's a Sunday and I normally see white/hispanic people those items stay in the totes and others are displayed. Now if I still have room left (never) or I sell a bunch of inventory - everything else in the totes come out just in case.
I actually enjoy the hagglers more then regular shoppers. I've sold stuff for a buck or two less then what really wanted just cuz of the fact was haven a good time doing it. That and barter/trade - I love doing that at the flea also with other vendors.
